There's several features that need to be disabled to properly harden KDE:

  • Downloading new themes, widgets, components, services, and Plasmoids via the GHNS system
  • KCM modules to modify SDDM, Plymouth, etc
  • Discover GHNS backend
    Additionally, integration is needed for the firewall to be modifiable from systemsettings.
